Remembering God’s Protection

God never changes.  Despite Israel’s unfaithfulness, God was always faithful.  When Israel was in doubt or distress, remembering God’s faithfulness in the past would bring hope.

Over the years, people claim to have found remnants of Egypt’s chariots at the bottom of the Red Sea.  Interestingly the locations differ but one-day God will let us know!

Balak, king of Moab, offered the prophet Balaam great wealth to curse Israel.  Balaam agreed, but was constrained to only speak that which the Lord gave him to speak 

August 17: God is Israel’s Protector

God has promised Israel and to all those who have come to Him through faith in Yeshua, that His salvation and righteousness will never fail.  Despite challenges to our families, to our possessions and even to our lives, He will ultimately be victorious.  The challenges that we face today are because we live in a broken world and the battles we fight seem to be overwhelming.  But the real battle is against the “powers and principalities in the heavenly places” (Eph6:12 NKJV).  That is where the victory is!

March 14: Purim

Interestingly Purim occurs exactly one month before Passover.  As Egypt was devastated because it tried to destroy Israel so was Persia hundreds of years later.

God would not allow Persia to harm Israel then and He will not allow Iran or any nation to touch the apple of His eye today (or tomorrow).

February 28:  The Nations, God is Israel’s protector

Despite God’s shows of power over the nations and His protection of Israel, many nations refuse to surrender to the Lord God of Israel.  But one day, every eye will see Him, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Yeshua is Lord!
