Israeli Holiday: From Death to Life
Everything God does to, for, through and by Israel is to be His witness that all people will know Him.
Everything God does to, for, through and by Israel is to be His witness that all people will know Him.
David’s son, Yeshua, fulfills this prophecy. God’s everlasting covenant of peace is through His grace by faith and He will rule Israel and the world forever.
Israel’s rebellion never changed God’s love, His relationship or His plan for her. Today we are seeing more and more Jewish people being reconciled and restored to God through faith in Yeshua.
Sadly as Israel celebrates her rebirth, our Muslim residents and neighbors call this day, “The Catastrophe.” But the rebirth of the nation is proof that the Bible is true and God’s promises are eternal.
As God’s witness, Israel reflects God’s love even in the darkness of the Holocaust. For those who ask questions, there really is no “satisfactory” answer. But this we can say, “Out of those ashes of death came life.” Today there are still survivors of that dark time who are living fulfilled lives.
Finally, God gives to Ezekiel and to us the meaning of this vision. The dry bones are symbolic of Israel and reflect her loss of faith and discouragement.
For those who are willing to see, the modern existence of Israel is miraculous. No other people or nation has ever been expelled from their homeland and scattered to the ends of the earth and then return!
Since her rebirth in 1948, Israel has fought many wars and waves of terror. The sound of alarms is almost continuous in some areas of the country and people have only 6 seconds to reach the safety of a bomb shelter.
Ezekiel continues to obey God’s orders and thus he sees the reality of God’s purposes…life after death
God’s timing is not our timing. While we impatiently wait for Him to fulfill His promises, often He is asking us to participate in what He is doing.
