God’s purpose and choice of Israel as His witness was for to be a light to the Gentiles. Through her, He would reveal to the Gentiles His character and His ways.

Psalm 98:2-3

The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

To fulfill that purpose, Israel had to:

Preserve His word   (Romans 9:4; 15:4)

Prove God’s choice  (Romans 9:11)

Give birth to Messiah Yeshua (Genesis 3:15; Galatians 4:4-5)

Invite Him to return (Matthew 23:37-39)

Be the reason for judging the nations (Joel 3:1-3; Zechariah 1:18-21; 12:1-4; Matthew 25:31-46).

PRAY ISRAEL WILL BE OBEDIENT AND FULFILL ALL OF GOD’S PURPOSES.
