Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

May they prosper who love you

- Psalm 122:6

God’s Offer to the Nations (Isaiah 45:22-25)

Over the years, there has been confusion or even denial regarding God’s unique relationship with Israel. But God’s relationship with Israel does not detract from His love for the nations. When the Bible speaks of “the nations” it means every man, woman and child are not descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in other words Gentile.

God’s plan and purpose was to make Himself known to the Gentiles through His relationship with Israel.  And His offer of salvation is the same to both Jews and Gentiles.

From the Garden of Eden, God has always offered His hand to those who wanted to know Him, love Him, trust Him, and serve Him.  His invitation has never changed.

Isaiah 45:22-24

“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.

 I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every knee shall bow,
Every tongue shall take an oath.

He shall say,
Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength.
To Him men shall come,
And all shall be ashamed

Who are incensed against Him.
