According to the Biblical calendar that begins in the spring, the feasts of the fall begin in the seventh month.
For more information on the feasts and their significance to Israel and to the church see: http://celebratethefeasts.org
Starting at sundown on September 15, 2023 the fall cycle of the feasts of the Lord will begin.
Leviticus 23:1-2,4
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘the feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts… These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times.’”
The feasts of the Lord were given to Israel to:
- Remember – Each feast commemorated one of God’s mighty acts of redemption for Israel. Because of their significance to Israel, many people call the holidays “Jewish holidays”. But that is wrong; they are “feasts of the Lord.”
- Rehearse – As God’s witness Israel was to tell others so they too would know God.
- Recognize – Through His feasts, God revealed His plan of salvation in Yeshua the Messiah. Yeshua is the reason for every celebration.
- Rejoice – The feasts were times to celebrate who God is and what He has done.
Everyone who loves the God of Israel and His Messiah can celebrate His feasts.
PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM AND THAT ALL PEOPLE WILL KNOW & CELEBRATE GOD’S LOVE AND REDEMPTION.
