July 18: The Nations

How wonderfully merciful is our God.  From the beginning of time His plan of redemption and salvation was for all people.

His ear is attentive to the destitute, the poor and the oppressed whether Jew or Gentile.  There was to be one law for the native born and the stranger in the land.

Even now He is creating a new people, from both Jew and Gentile.  And there will come a day when Jerusalem will be filled with men and women from EVERY nation singing the praise to the Lord in EVERY language!

Psalms 102: 17-22:  He shall regard the prayer of the destitute;
and shall not despise their prayer. This will be written for the generation to come,
that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.

For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary;
from heaven the Lord viewed the earth, to hear the groaning of the prisoner,
to release those appointed to death, to declare the name of the Lord in Zion,
and His praise in Jerusalem, when the peoples are gathered together,
and the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.
