以色列的不顺服
尽管上帝为以色列做了这些：
- 他准备埃及最好的土地
- 当上帝摧毁埃及时保护以色列不染瘟疫
- 当以色列离开埃及时上帝准备很多财富
- 在旷野之行中他供应和保护以色列
- 他有权能掌管受造物以及
- 他审判不顺服和不相信…
…以色列继续不顺服上帝并拒绝相信他。
诗篇78:9-11
以法莲的子孙带着兵器，拿着弓，临阵之日转身退后。
他们不遵守神的约，不肯照他的律法行；
又忘记他所行的和他显给他们奇妙的作为。
祈祷以色列人民认识上帝的信实并承认他们的不忠信。
- Gustav Schroeder was the captain of the St Louis the ship that fled Nazi Germany in May 1939 with 900 Jewish people, bound for the Americas. They were denied entry into both the USA and Cuba. Schroeder delayed returning to Germany. he even devised a plan to wreck the ship off the coast of Britain so they would be taken in. Finally, Britain, Belgium and France agreed to share the asylum of the passengers.
