Job contemplated his mortality and realized that the only hope he had was the kindness and mercy of God. Job knew he was not righteous. He knew that God would judge his life and hoped that God would forgive his sin.
Job 14:14-16
If a man dies, shall he live again?
All the days of my hard service I will wait,
Till my change comes.
You shall call, and I will answer You;
You shall desire the work of Your hands.
For now You number my steps,
But do not watch over my sin.
God’s kindness and grace was manifested in the incarnation, life, death and resurrection of Yeshua. Righteousness is a gift of God through faith in the sacrifice of Yeshua.
