Beloved, there is not a corner of the earth that is not facing challenges…if not crises. People are helpless, unsure where to look, or to whom to look for help. In this age of social media and instant communication prayer requests abound often for a miracle healing but more often, especially in times of conflict come the requests for:
- Protection
- Peace
- Safety
These cries of the heart are totally understandable as we long for life as we knew it…before….. Before what? When and where was life ever perfect? Peaceful? Really safe?
Recently, just after the health crisis seemed to be over, we in Israel faced another situation. Once again the sirens wailed as hundreds of rockets were sent throughout Israel from Gaza. As trouble came from without, it also came from within as cities were rocked by riots between Jewish and Muslim residents!
Children in Israel’s southern towns lived in the bomb shelters because they didn’t have enough time to run from the playground into the shelter. So the shelters were turned into playgrounds. Mothers ran holding newborns in their arms as they too ran for cover. And fathers tried to explain to the toddlers and teens what was happening.
Well, that’s the world I live in. But what about those on the “other side” who watched as Israel’s jets retaliated.
The nations of the world begged both the aggressor and the defender to “deescalate.” So which side blinks first? Of course, we’re talking about perspective…
But what if the perspective isn’t local but global? Enter the 4th Seal:
Let there be no mistake, as it was God who determined the rationing of food for the 3rd seal, it is God who again is authorizing the death of ¼ of the earth’s population or approximately the total population of India and China!
Not surprisingly the color of this 4th horse is not the brilliance of the others, but a sickly pale yellowish green…the color of illness, death and decay.

Beloved, for sure these will be troubling times. Our preference is to run away or to ignore these prophesies, but Yeshua specifically warned us so we would be ready and prepare.
