– The Lord our Judge
One day, we WILL all pass before the King, God Most High, for a careful inspection. At that time, He will pay close attention to everything we did, said and thought.
Exodus 34: 6-7
As he passed in front of Moses, he called out. He said, “I am the Lord, the Lord. I am the God who is tender and kind. I am gracious. I am slow to get angry. I am faithful and full of love. 7 I continue to show my love to thousands of people. I forgive those who do evil. I forgive those who refuse to obey me. And I forgive those who sin. But I do not let guilty people go without punishing them. I cause the sins of the parents to affect their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”
God will also judge the nations, especially how they treated Israel.
Joel 3:1-2
“At that time I will bless Judah and Jerusalem
with great success again.
2 I will gather together all the nations.
I will bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
There I will put them on trial.
I will judge them for what they have done
to my people Israel.
They scattered them among the nations.
They divided up my land among themselves.
Preparing to be judged by the King is important to Israel, to the Church and to all people.
PRAY FOR THE FEAR OF THE LORD TO FALL ON ISRAEL AND ON YOUR NATION.
