Job has so many questions he wants to ask God. Almost everyone of them begins with the word, “Why?” When he finally gets the opportunity to ask, he is silent. Instead God asks Job questions.
One of the biggest stumbling blocks to the Jewish people is the question, “Why did God allow the Hollocaust.”
“But who are we to tell God how to run his affairs?
He’s dealing with matters that are way over our heads.
Some people die in the prime of life,
with everything going for them—
fat and sassy.
Others die bitter and bereft,
never getting a taste of happiness.
