May they prosper who love you

God is Israel’s protector

God has always been and promises to always be Israel’s protector. What He demands in return is faith and trust in His protection.

God is Israel’s protector

Despite Israel’s bondage to Egypt and God’s faithfulness, when Israel was in trouble, she turned to Egypt for help instead of God.

God is Israel’s Protector

Standing on the brink of the Promised Land, the tribes of Reuben, Gad and half of Manasseh wanted to remain on the east side of the Jordan. Moses consented, but only if the fighting men would leave their wives, children and livestock behind and join the rest of Israel as they fought to take the land.

March 14: Purim

It is interesting that Purim is exactly one month before Passover. Just as Egypt was destroyed because it tried to destroy Israel, so Persia was destroyed because it tried to destroy Israel, too,  hundreds of years later. God did not let Persia destroy Israel during the time of Esther and He will not allow Iran or any nation destroy Israel today or ever.  Israel is precious to God and is the apple of His eye

February 28:  The Nations, God is Israel’s protector

Despite God’s show of power over the nations and His protection of Israel, many nations refuse to surrender to the Lord God of Israel.  But one day, every eye will see Him, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord!

February 26: The nations; God is Israel’s protector

Israel’s defeats have only been at the permission of God when He is bringing discipline and judgment on her rebellion.  But He has never and will never forsake (leave) her.

Today Israel has powerful weapons that help protect her from the many rockets and missiles bombarding her boundaries, but no weapon can come against the mighty power of God.

February 24: God is Israel’s protector

Over the years, people claim to have found pieces of Egypt’s chariots at the bottom of the Red Sea.  Interestingly the locations differ but one-day God will let us know!

January 19: God is Israel’s protector

Balak, king of Moab, offered the prophet Balaam great wealth to curse Israel.  Balaam agreed, but was held back to only speak that which the Lord gave him to speak .

December 4: God’s Protection

Ultimately God is Israel’s strength and protection.  Although He works through “man” and allows us to share in His victory and triumph, we should never forget that it is only through Him!
