There can be no doubt that God is talking about Israel, His first born son.
God’s unique relationship with Israel does not lessen His love for the Gentiles who have been redeemed by grace through faith in Yeshua. Rather than feeling rejected or inferior, the Gentiles should rejoice in the mercy of God who made them partakers in the Spiritual blessings of Israel. Furthermore, God has given the Gentiles specific privileges and responsibilities in His kingdom.
God pleads with Israel through the prophet Isaiah as recorded in the entire chapter Isaiah 43.
We are about to look at various Messianic prophecies which have been correctly applied to Yeshua without recognizing their context as also referring to the nation and the people of Israel.
