March 1: God’s unique relationship with Israel
Over and over the writers of the Bible repeat God’s promises to Israel. Most literary genres would never permit such repetition. But the Bible is inspired and “God-breathed” therefore the repetition reflects God’s concern that we understand His faithful character and sovereignty over Israel and all nations.
