February 7: Jerusalem; God’s unique relationship with Israel
Because David was a man of war, God refused David’s request, giving Solomon the privilege. But the Lord did make a promise to David that his family would always continue, an everlasting throne. That promise was fulfilled in Yeshua, Son of David.
