
God’s unique relationship with Israel and with the Nations
When the nations are jealous or resentful of Israel’s unique relationship with God it reveals their ignorance of God love for all people and nations.

Then Paul does answer the question. His answer reveals his background and understanding of the Hebrew Bible.

Paul’s question is not rhetorical. The truth is that God is patient and waits according to His plans and purposes.

Since (not if) God is sovereign, then what “right” does He have to criticize or accuse any one (or any nation)?

In the middle of his letter to the Romans, the Apostle Paul address what is often called, “the issue of Israel.”

Today we finally hear Paul’s response to the challenges about God’s sovereign choices, especially His choice of Israel…

From its birth Israel was created to be unique among nations. She is, at the same time: a nation, a people, a religion and a land.

Killing the messenger will never stop the truth of the message.
