June 24: God’s unique relationship with Israel
The Fear of the Lord was to be the motivation of the Law of Moses. God wanted the people’s love for and fear of Him to motivate them to obedience.
Sadly over the years as Israel was influenced by Gentile pagan nations, they lost their fear of the Lord and replaced His Word with traditions.
