February 11: God’s unique relationship with Israel
One of the explanations the new church devised to understand why God allowed the Romans to destroy the Temple was the Theology of Deicide. From 70 AD unto today, many in the Church accuse the Jewish people of deicide, killing God. Justin Martyr was one of the first of the Church Fathers who promoted the lie of Deicide.
