Das Gedenken an Gottes Treue in der Vergangenheit lässt uns bewusst werden, dass auf Gottes Schutz Verlass ist. Ungeachtet der Umstände ist unter dem Schutz des Schattens Seiner Flügel der sicherste Platz, an dem man sein kann.
Remembering God’s faithfulness in the past will remind us that God’s protection never fails. Regardless of circumstances or situation, the safest place to be is under the protection of the shadow of His wings.
When the Assyrians came to destroy Jerusalem, the Lord did battle and slew 185,000 of the enemy in one night. Not one Israelite had to fight. Miracles like this continue in every war that modern Israel has had to fight.
God will always protect Israel, even when He is disciplining her through another nation. His covenant with Israel is eternal.

The Psalmist begins with a cry for help. Then he describes the attempts of the enemy. But in the end he praises God because he is confident in God’s protection and justice.
Despite their rebellion in the desert, God continuously saved and delivered His chosen people.
