April 9: The Twenty-four Elders
Like the living creatures, the 24 elders were prominent in God’s Throne Room. There is much speculation about the identify of these elders. I like the suggestion that 12 would come from the tribes of Israel and the other 12 would be the Apostles. These elders have thrones themselves which reflects their importance to God.
