Perhaps the most frightening weapon of Death and Hades, the riders of the 4th seal, are “Disease” and “Beasts of the earth.” What we think of dangerous beasts will be different around the world.
The time is getting closer when the wrath of God will know no bounds. It’s hard to conceive of His signing the death certificate of ¼ of the earth’s population. Soon we will see even greater numbers given over to death. God will never be mocked. Whatever we sow, that we will reap.
Yesterday we said that despite common understanding, Hades (Greek) and Sheol (Hebrew) is NOT the grave. Nor is it eternal. It is a temporary “holding tank.
Before the death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua both unbelievers AND believers went to Hades/Sheol.
Today we’re taking a closer look at Death’s companion in the 4th seal…Hades.
Understand that Hades/Sheol is NOT everlasting; it is only a temporary “holding place” for unbelievers from all generations and Old Testament Believers.
In today’s world, we rarely hear the word “cross,”
especially not here in Israel
and we never sing about the “blood” of Yeshua.
Death is the rider on the pale horse, and he is followed by Hades. Interestingly we don’t even know if Hades is riding a horse and if so what is its color? He’s following Death so he too must be riding a horse…but there are no answers to these kinds of questions, apparently the Holy Spirit doesn’t consider them important.
This is the first time the rider of one of the horses of the Apocalypse is given a name; the rider of the pale horse is named “Death.”
Beloved, there is not a corner of the earth that is not facing challenges…if not crises. People are helpless, unsure where to look, or to whom to look for help.
“What is the importance of the oil and the wine?”
May there be no question or doubt that it is the Father Himself who is judging the earth. This is the day of His wrath which needs no further explanation. His word spoken through the prophets and written for all to read has brought His warning to all who had eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to respond.
